All of those are wanders, right. It’s sort of diversity in colors is what has my attention. Our wanders her on Whidby Island are mostly (what I’ve seen) a brown in color.

hmmmm...interesting....:cool: the first male from Joe's valley is a baby from this summer....I do have in brumation an adult female from there also....will be a year or 2 before they will breed. I will be looking for an adult female hypermel this spring (if we got back up north to do the baby animal fair....) unfortunately my only female hypermel is a baby from this summer. I love the striped one...my fave!!!! wanderings are quite varied in pattern and colors.....will be going up to Idaho where I grew up and hopefully bringing back 2.2 green wanderings from there (along with some valley garters....) I have seen an occasional brown one in Idaho...most here are gray or light green... I am also hoping to find more orange ones.... I heard from my friend at the rescue about some found up in one of the canyons here that have blue color....normally I woud say yeah, right...but he said the source is trustworthy and not prone to making up stuff....will be heading up and looking. went up last year, but was a little early....still had snow on the ground.....no snakes, but did see a moose!
