First I apologize for the poor picture quality... my cell was the only thing I had handy... A few minutes ago I glanced over from my monitor to see this :eek::eek::
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/jitami/Sly/Frack2.jpg
OMG!!!
Me inadvertently tapping the glass with my cell phone got this reaction:

And yes, that's the same snake... one twisted body...
He slithers away, surely irritated that I interrupted him...

Just who recommended Carefresh??? Wow... that really scared the heck out of me until I saw his little head wiggling under the substrate! Heart definitely stopped for a minute there!

The more I spend time around the little scrubs the more I think they may just be arnery. At least I like to think so. Imagine if there is more going on than just eat, sleep, drink and poop. They probably laugh at our reactions to the things they do to us. The mental picture of them laughing at us is so funny. They bring joy to my families life even if they don't know it.

Who knows Brett... It may have been his way of guilting me into feeding them! They just ate Monday, but both were really active earlier today, and then again, after I disturbed his slumber. Now he's basking with a full belly and his dumb brother is cruising around hunting for something other than the pinky that he's smelled several times. I give up :D

Je'Tami... Here's a copy of my correspondense with Rich, Daddy o'The Blues Brothers...
Love you, kid! :)
Hey MK,
First of all, you're of course, nuts!!! I'm glad to hear the Blues
Brothers are doing well, and I did warn you that they were great
eaters. I fed them once a week (sometimes twice), but mainly once,
and I also fed by hand. Well, actually, I used 9" wooden tweezers to
feed them because of the same reason you mentioned. They latch onto
your fingers and think they're making progress swallowing you. Little
boogers!
They're such good eaters that you can supplement their pinkie diet
with other things, but I'd stay away from beef. It's very fatty and
can be hard on their livers. You could even go to a bait store and
buy minnows (remember to avoid goldfish) or get a large catfish (i.e.
inexpensive fish) and chunk it up yourself. They'll eat it. If you
start feeding them fish/animal parts, though, you should either
supplement their diet once a month with vitamins or offer them a
variety of foods to ensure they're getting proper nutrition (vitamins,
minerals, amino and fatty acids, etc.).
As for the shedding, there were times that I'd get a shed weekly,
but that included from them and their siblings. I suspect that yours
have adjusted to the warmer temperatures/longer daylight than they
experienced up here in Alaska, and their bodies are telling them it's
spring... time to grow. They go through spurts where the growth is
almost non-stop, followed by periods of inactivity.

I dry those out carefully and put them in my little diplay cabinet in the house, along with the scorpions :)
