I can see why Ichabod is your pride & joy. Does he actually have some purple coloring or is it the lighting?
They are ALL beautiful :)

He actually has the purple coloring! That picture was taken without a flash. I then took one with the flash and the color is the same. It is hard to photograph though.

Nice group of critters!
I really find those crested geckos interesting, although I dare not try to bring one home at the moment. I'm currently trying to convince the hubby that a cat would be a great Christmas gift "for the kids". I won't throw anything else into the mix just yet!:p

lol!! Me and my husband have decided that there will be no more fuzzies in the house!! We have 3 cats and a dog but once they are gone that is it!!! Only snakes and lizards from now on!!!

Oh lucky you....

Hubby wants to get rid of all my snakes, lizards & the 2 cats he rescued for me...

to get one dog, that I would have to take care of.

My husband has become fairly tolerant of the snakes. He'll most likely veto the cat idea. He hates fur in the house. The kids and I plead our case about it regularly, but so far, it's not working.:rolleyes: I'd probably have better luck getting the gecko!

I really love my crested gecko!!! They are so soft!! They look really cool and they are very easy to take care of! I would rather have more crested geckos then my cats!!!! LOL!!!

My other half would LOVE to get rid of my reptiles. He dont mind the dog really but would love to get rid of MY pets. Well the dog is mine also :p I wouldnt mind getting a rat but I know he for sure would not let me get one. Heck he dont have to take care of the animals in the house.. I do it all..

I'm just taken by their big eyes and funny pointy faces! The softness thing sounds interesting. I always thought most reptiles felt pretty much the same to touch. Neat.......

cresteds feel like really soft chamois cloth, a bit velvety too
they are wonderful to touch

I would suggest that you look for a reptile show and sale!! That is most likey where you will find them and for better prices too!!

Nice group! Is that green on your crested gecko? I 've been looking for a moonglow crestie for some time now. I have only seen a photo of one.
Your Amel corn almost fits the bill for the morph name Candy Cane.

It is green on the crestie!! She is about to shed there. She no longer has that. I am not sure yet what morph she is she is only about 5 months old or so.
