keeping garters together

Can you keep two different types of garters together? red sided with checkered?
If so how much size difference?

You can, as long as you don't mix sexes.

Can't comment on what an acceptable size difference would be. Small enough that the bigger one doesn't just decide that the smaller one is food.

Keeping the size similar would be best, An overly large cage mate, even if it does not eat your smaller snakie, can cause a lot of stress in the smaller animal.

Good advice already fron Stefan and Wayne. I keep some of mine together and have nnot had a problem as yet.
