I don't think I'll be able to go, but I can probably talk Sean into bringing a poster there for you

Rhea, you can do my order last. I know I ordered two... BUT... I went down and dirty and made the poster my wallpaper at work. So far, not a SINGLE GRIPE! :)

So, do me last because if there are any xtras I'd like a THIRD one for work! LOL!!! I don't mind waiting - need to scratch up the funds anyway.

to those of you whose posters are being mailed:
since they sustained some minor damage on the bottom border on the trip from Germany (very minor), I am applying sticky dots to the outside on one end to keep them from slamming around in the mailers
they look like a strip of blueish-gray tiny anti-skid dots, and they rub right off
they're at the end of the roll where the tail end of your address is, so it's best to open the tube at that end and to be prepared for the poster to stick in the tube a bit
so insert your fingers and wind the poster a bit tighter before you pull it out
I hope that is clear

Udo, I sent the link that Rhea posted to Dave, the Naturalist at the state park I work at, telling him I'm getting a copy for the Visitor Center and he said...

"It's stunning." He's an introvert so that's high praise from him!

You did so good - a beautiful piece of art. It's fabulous!

You Amerkins, do you remember Romper Room?

"Romper, stomper, bomper, boo... I see.. Sally and Johnny and Mary and Zoe and Lori and Loren..."

Remember that?

THAT'S what this poster reminds me of...

"I see Black Neck and Fl Blue and Puget and..." I just love it!

I do, but I can't use it well enough. And I don't have anything good to cut the acrylic with. ;)

That looks great Stefan!!! Mine arrived today and they're wonderful!!! I also got two. I'm going to share one with my sons' elementary science teacher. He's awesome, has a wonderful science classroom full of all sorts of neat things, and since Sly was caught right next to the school he can link the poster to a "real" experience for the kids. Need to find a simple frame first, though.

Cool poster :D

What about putting black on the ends instead of white? Might look like its was supposed to be that way.
Just a thought :)

I don't have any of those things and it wouldn't look good anyway.

no - I agree
it has to be something matching
tempting to put it in a larger frame and matting it, but then I don't have the wall space

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a frame with the correct width.

I went ahead and picked up the next smaller size(22.375" x 34") but now looking at yours I don't think it's going to work... would cut off too much top and bottom... hmmmm... :(

Received my poster the other day. Had it laminated and then put it in a beautiful frame I picked up at a yard sale. Thanks Rhea. I think I'm going to order another. Are they still available?

I watch for those expensive frames at yard sale. I don't care what's in them. At the price of glass now a days, it's a good investment. The people who are getting rid of them, just want them gone. For a couple of dollars you can pick up a frame worth $100 or more. Many of the frames I have were from frame shops. I've had one photo frame by a shop. Never again. Most of the cost is in the frame. You can take your photo or poster to them and have a matte cut for a lot less than their finished product. Do it yourself. It all looks the same in the end and you save a bunch of money. More money to expand our Thamnophis families.
