Well, thought I would join up and see how this place is. Looks like an interesting place for a fella like me to hang my hat and say howdy, so here I am.
I'm a snake lover. Been keeping snakes for about 20 years and change. Ironically enough, I have never kept a garter snake until just recently when I caught a Sierra Garter, Thamnophis couchii, and decided I wanted to keep her. She is fascinating. I have somewhere around 50 snakes, a few lizards, some geckos, couple birds, and some frogs. But this little couchii is just incredibly entertaining to watch. So much so that I have decided to get her a friend or two.
Anyhow...just wanted to pop in and say hi...give you all a bit of background on the new guy lurking amongst you...
