Hi all,I'm Jason,a new garter keeper.I found a baby in my yard a week ago and decided to keep it,normally i leave wildlife in the wild but there are so many around here i said what the heck,why not!So far It's eaten some worms and fish,no luck on pinkie parts,no interest.I have not supplemented yet but now that It's eating i may start with calcium and a multivitamin.Hopefully i can get it on rodents!

Here are a few pics of it in a small 5 gallon? tank i had laying around.It's now in a 20 long with sticks to climb on and dry moss for cover.BTW i keep Burms,Boas,turtles and a Beardie also.

Yup,that was a cricket,that was the first day i got him and i have since read a lot about their care.Good eye for spotting that!

Thanks everyone!....Nope,no injury,Hes in perfect shape!Except the tape he got stuck to yesterday,but a little olive oil fixed that.Rookie mistake to say the least!

What kind of turtles do you have? I have a Ornate box turtle and I have a Baby Russian Tortoise :D
