Hi, all! Thank you for this GREAT place and for being so helpful so far!

I'm Tess. I'm 25 and live in Wisconsin with my husband, Pete, and our pets. We have four ferrets, three cats, three cornsnakes, and currently one common garter. I work in insurance compliance/regulations, and he's a computer programmer and IT consultant. For fun, we do a lot of gaming with friends (tabletop and computer) and ride our motorcycles (Suzuki V-Stroms).

Looking forward to learning more and meeting new "snake people"! I am loving the garter; it is so active and out-and-about compared to the shy little corns. :)

Nice to have you with us. They are great aren't they. My 60+ baby Plains are so curious about everything that's going on in the house. They are calm when picked up and seen to enjoy the contact. I wish more people knew what a treasure they have right in front of them and not look at them as a pest. Hope to see a picture of your Common.
