Okay, I came across these little fellas... If they're sirtalis sirtalis I'm definitely getting a pair.
So what's everyone's opinion?

LOL! Kyle, those are sirtalis... those are the exact same kind of babies I offered you... haha!
The ones in his hand are clearly being shot with some kind of weird lighting at play... I will guarantee you they are not as blue as they seem in those pics. From far away those pics look appealing but up close, i can tell they are not really that blue. Look at the middle pic for their true color and what you should expect to arrive. haha thats so funny... those are like the exact babies I said I'd trade ya :D

I think the middle pic is of them at a younger age... They get blue-er as they age, right? :P

yes, but you can see in the pic in his hand that the snake is still very small. I would be really surprised if that snake was actually as blue as its being made out to be.

I don't know... The hand holding them has a SLIGHT blue hint around the edges. But they still look nice.

technically, FL blues are sirtalis, Florida Blue Stripes are similis.
and again, just my opinion but being a photographer, I can see that he has some weird lighting or photo altering at play there. It looks highly un natural. They also normally just are not that blue when they are small.

The common names are interchanged alot.
Florida blue garetrs can be either Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis "blue" or Thamnophis sirtalis similis.
The latter is the true blue kind. lol

The fact that they're easterns makes them so much more appetizing.
lol
Stefan, don't you dare comment on that.

Kyle, I the stub-tailed female I'm getting is the mother of these babies!! But the male I'm getting is not the father. I just heard from Dan. Just thought it was kind of cool.

Well, either way, I would think about trying to find references on the seller first. Always a good place to start.

Well he does have pics of the adults/babies, which is always a good thing.
And his responses are quick, which means that he's diligent.
He checks out with me.
