Old school garter snakes

Just wanted to say hello, I've been collecting Garter snakes most of my life. It was the first snake I ever saw and have been captivated ever since. Now, I'm almost 50 and still have a deep regard for them and their safety. My 5 children also have my respect for them and one of my daughter is following in my footsteps. We have had 3 groups born this year and am expecting another group in early Dec. This last group from a baby born last fall. I will try to post a few photos as soon as I can. Great finding so many people also seeing something special in the little "scrubs". That's the name my daughter gave them. Hoping to make contact with you.

Thanks to everyone replying. I will post a few photos as soon as I can figure out how to do it. The photo that appears with my post is from the girl that due in Nov/Dec. She had a prenatal Vet appointment yesterday. The Vet was nice enough to give her a free x-ray. We counted approx.25 eggs. Hoping everything goes well for this first time mom. She's very special. She would rather spend all her time with my daughter than be in her enclosure.

I do have a very high pain tolerance. I mean, I have to, look at all the things I'm always dropping on my head. LOLOL Or falling over, or stumbling into... sigh... Grace, thy name is NOT Lori.

I do have one tattoo on my ankle, ironically enough, of a fairy mouse. :rolleyes: LOVE the tattoo, just feel a little hypocritical these days, what with breeding feeder mice. lol

See, I don't really jive te photo-realistic looking wildlife tattoos. All mine is bright and kinda caricatury...I have four snakes on me; A cobra lunging at a hand, a bright red and pink one wrapped around some diamonds (It's actaully a one eyed snake with the fam jewels), I have ared bellied, brown and green one wrapped around an owl, and I have a furry viper losing a fight to a bald eagle a la Mexican Flag...
