Hi everyone... My name is Brandon and I'm a new guy to the forum, but not new to garter snakes or any reptiles for that matter. I've owned countless snakes blah blah blah...
ANYWAY - I just stumbled upon this forum, which I think is awesome and wanted to post a recent addition to the family! I've had an itch to build a vivarium since I was 12 and recently started moving forward with it. It's going to be a 75-25 split land-water with a small stream in a 65 gallon. On to the good news, I love garter snakes and water snakes. I think its because of how responsive they are and how they look in their environment. I think thats why... I'm just attracted to them.
So I was going to actually purchase an adult ribbon snake today(It would be my 1st purchased snake ever) when low and behold I stumble upon this lil man...

the very tip of his tail is missing. He must have had a rough 'go' the first few weeks of life.
This is his current home. Sharing this tank now with a 5-lined skink.

Here is the "under construction" 75-25.

I'm kind of knowledgable with these guys and other herps so feel free to pick my brain if anyone has any questions!
