Brownie, the bigger dekayi, decided to go poo & pee on me yesterday! All 4 snakes have been eating, slugs, worms for now.

I am going to order some frozen pinkies... If I can cut up worms, I can cut up pinkies..!!!

Ohhh I remember that last night LOL. They gave ya a present :D

I fed Max and Bennie a big slug each. I need to go dig up some worms for them. They sure are little piggies:D I STILL cant cut up a pinky :eek::p

Only true Snake Geeks get pooed and peed on, as Dave, the Naturalist at the park tells me. I wish I had a picture of when Ripley 'blessed' me from armpit to knee at the State Fair. It was a really 'nice' blessing... Ah-hem.

I can now cut up f and/or t pinkies like there's no tomorrow. First couple o'times my stomach kind'a rolled. But now it's nothing. I cut when still mostly thawed and cut into slivers. Still, Peeps and Jeeps won't eat them.

scenting means rubbing a piece of fish on the pinky so it smells like fish not a pinky

thats is ok..... i got pee'd on by a dog at the shelter a couple of days ago.....

Fish may work for a Garter Brigitte, But Dekayi snakes don't like fish either.

Stephanie, you may try to rub slug goo on them, Slug goo will drive a DK crazy with hunger.:D

Scenting is a wonderful thing. :) I have many, many snakes that now eat rodents due to scenting. I've used fish, frogs, lizards, worms, and slugs. All 9 of my garter/ribbon species/subspecies will take rodents.
Now I am scenting rats with mice so some of my stubborn mouse eaters(non-garters) will take rats.

ewww last week meadow pooped in my hair and i didn't realize it till a few hours later when i scratched my head!!!!!! it was DISGUSTING!!!!!!!

ewww last week meadow pooped in my hair and i didn't realize it till a few hours later when i scratched my head!!!!!! it was DISGUSTING!!!!!!!
