well a week ago from yesterday I decided to take a trip up to the garter plots and released my easterns because I do not feel comfortable brumating them. they were so happy to be back in the wild, but I will miss them.:( I got rid of the babies and the adults. (1.1.4)

well I did not want to keep them forever and I do not want them to spend the rest of their life in captivity.

Best wishes!! Hope they do well.

We have released so many, it used to be hard, but it always felt good:D

I cought an eastern a few years ago and she birthed 26 babies... after giving them their first meal I released them and that was tough!

I'm sure... I get the sense that it made you feel proud! The wild for a baby garter is pretty rough! Birds, snakes, frogs/toads, busy streets, some large insects, us - the list goes on!

o yeah.... but a way to fix that would be to feed them diff. food or to spot clean their cage more often.... mine don't smell.......
