Sadly the Green Garter snake had to go back to the reptile shop, he had only ate once since i had him. (tried all sorts to coax him as Gregmonsta can testify, he`s been a gr8 help.) I also noticed he was starting to get a kink in his spine, so took him back up to the shop, they are good as gold up there. The owner informs me, snake was beginning to get MBD.( not his fault i must add also he was the smallest out of the bunch. just one of those things.) So he gave me a very healthy replacement Albino Garter and its a Female.
Sad as i am about my little garter snake, its just natures way and i will miss him. Have asked the owner not to tell me what happened to it. i get to upset. So now its a case of spot the Difference of who is who. When she as settled in more, i post some photos .

Thanks Peeps.
Whilst i know its nature way of getting rid of the weak, so as the strong can survive, it still upsetting. (is an old softie really.)
But i couldnt keep it and watch it sufffer. Sadly MBD cannot really be thouroghly cured and its not fair on the animal to suffer.
Funny how we can so attached to our pets.

I don't think it's funny. ;) I think it's completely normal.
