hey , im a newbie XD w00pw00p
my first snake was a dot dash king snake , but unfortunatly i had to get rid of him due to his bad temper , which iv heard he hasnt got rid off , oh dear i heard that species is quite prone to it :(
so i got a checkered garter snake im his 3rd and last home :)
iv been thinking on getting a female , he's big enough to eat rat pups which is what i give him and occasional lance fish as a treat , i was wondering how old you would suggest the female should be ?

Probably about 2 years for the female, remember she is likely to be bigger than your male..
