Hi everyone, my name's Jeanine. I'm from Valrico, FL. I'm 19 and I work for a federal credit union. I have 27 tarantulas, 6 goldfish, 3 cats, 2 red-eyed tree frogs, 1 eyrthristic eastern garter snake, 1 northern leopard frog, 1 bearded dragon, and one dog.
I have my hands full.
Anyhow, I just brought my baby garter today from the National Reptile Breeders Expo in Daytona Beach this afternoon. I'm so happy to find a forum dedicated to them, and look forward to becoming an active member.

I haven't owned an A. versicolor adult yet, but I have 2 slings and they are such a delight. I highly recommend getting them as slings because they're a beautiful turqouise color!

Yep, i was going to get it as a sling. Do you happen to know anything about whether they can be housed together like A. avicularia? That would be kind of cool but I haven't read anything about that...definitely getting a sling though...the colors are amazing.
