This is kind of random but about how old or how big do baby garters need to be before they can eat a whole pinky? I'm mostly asking cause I dont want to chop up pinkies. I'm never quite sure how little the peices of tilapia that i give them need to be either so i just make it about the size of their head. Advice anyone?

the size of their head is actually quite a good way to judge what size of food they can eat of course as an adult they can eat things a bit bigger than their head as well

Ok so i'm thinking a newborn will work but i'll have to compare to be sure.
