Well, my feet are offically wet. The Common Garter sheet is started. Anyone wishing add to or correct anything I've posted to this point, jump right in.

Nice start there, Sid.

The common garter snake is T. sirtalis. T. s. sirtalis would be the subspecies 'eastern garter snake'. And captive care seems to have its own article.

Thanks Sid. That's a great job, and a special thanks for adding the picture http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/images/smilies/2232thumb.gif (http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=502#).

Thanks for the comments. I have started part with a listing of the twelve sub-species of sertalis. Any of you members with a photo in the gallery for any of these feel free to post one under its line in the list or let me know and with your permission I'll be glad to do it for you. Would like to get a quality photo for all of the twelve.

Thanks,
Sid

some very nice photo's of sirtalis sub species, but not one of the common garter sirtalis surely somebody has one to round of an otherwise excellent article
