Has any body got any advice?
My chequered garter produced infertile eggs at the end of last year but has still got a few retained, she is not eating and the eggs don't seem to be budging.

They generally pass on their own, if not...get her to a vet, that would be the best bet.

I'd second the opinion on going to a vet. Don't wait untill it's to late, I wouldn't take the risk.

As Don said, they normally pass on their own. Sometimes they don't. Then it can render your female infertile (at the least), but there's also a "worse-case scenario." If they haven't passed within about 2 weeks of the others, then I'd get her to the vet.

While you wait for the vet appointment, soak/swim her in 80 - 90 degree F water for a half hour.

Chloe, you never told us the outcome of your vet visit. What happened?

There may be an issue with the translation, but I'm sure she's talking about jelly beans (AKA slugs).
