I haven't posted here in a while, for which I apologize. Raven is doing really good, she's been very active and friendly the past couple months! I got some good pics of her taking a bath:

A week or two ago I went to the zoo. I was with family and it was super busy, so I didn't get as many chances for photos as in the past. Here's what I got:

Thanks 4 bearing with me through the randomness. I'm supposed to go to the zoo again in a week or two, hopefully I'll get better pics then. :)

Good pics, nice glasses. I was at the zoo not to long ago and it is a major pain getting pics when your with a bunch of people and kids.
Great photos and the new glasses Allison. Raven is looking really good. Glad to see you back.:)

Welcome back, Allison.
I like best the photos of the giraffe,
that looks like an ample habitat.
Glasses could be so nice as I see...
if you don´t have to clean them all the time.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I was hesitant about the glasses 'cause i've never had big chunky ones before but i'm loving em!

What do you have to pay for entrance on a zoo in the US?
I´m a real zoo fan although only two German zoos showing Garters.
Not only according to the size of the zoo fee is from 3,50 up to 25 € for an adult.

here are the rates for two of the biggest
SanDiegoZoo.org: Buy Tickets and Book Hotels Online (http://www.sandiegozoo.org/tickets/index.html)
Hours & Rates (http://www.bronxzoo.com/plan-your-trip/hours-and-rates.aspx)
in NY we can get a membership to the wildlife conservation society that gives us admission to four zoos and the aquarium, plus discounts
many of the special exhibits cost extra admission
smaller zoos generally charge from around five dollars up, I think
I don't believe I have ever seen a garter snake in a US Zoo

I used to that zoo ten years ago - don't remember the garters
it was there though I was once in close proximity to a very angry tiger and it was memorable - quite
