How about an update, Udo? :) How did the winter go? Any losses?

winters were ok,
but I lost some snakes last spring
too much moist
too less sun

Now wait a minute, I seem to recall seeing a greenhouse of sorts covering the enclosure. Seems that temporarily covering it with such a cover would help with that problem. I know that people here in the Pacific northWET grow dessert cacti by doing something similar during the wet season, which of course is most of the year.

Loving this project! Makes me want to build one in my backyard and fill it with northwestern garters! It would of course incorporate a leafy compost area so they can find plenty of worms, but it could definitely work.
