the 2nd female that Nikki found, lunging under the water at 8:30 at night....watching us fishing....could have been waiting for us to throw back a few small ones....:D

and here's the other female...was playing in the lake with the kids, my youngest daughter Kelly threw one of the water toys into the bushes by the boat ramp....I headed in to get it and saw this girl crawling around the concrete. I tried to catch her...she was sitting behind a bush...couldn't reach her....I slowly put my hand around the bush. She came crawling right up to my hand and was flicking her tongue like crazy...let her check me out for a minute, the she started to dart away and I caught her!!!

she has a bit of a cranky look.....

Thanks for sharing, Don.
The pattern looks like made to hide them on your carpet;)
Why did you not photograph them on the nice green spot in your garden?
Iīve made some plates with soil, sand, stones on it to have nicer backgrounds for my photos, but sure I donīt use them all the time.:o

well.....was a little dark out, couldn't take any decent photos. I am gonna take some outside later when I have more time...I have family in town. I want to get some of the green cage carpet I used to have....would be excellent to set outside and set the snakes on....then don't have to worry about grass in their faces and blocking good photo shots.

wonderful shots!

I find with my photographing, that I get the best results using a large flat, neutral colored rock! (kind of like the color of that carpet)

they're lovely, Don
I'm keeping a sirtalis male and a vagrans male (Don from Don) in the same tank and some days they do look very similar
