Niiiiiiice I just set it here at work too. My boss will hate it. But that so-and-so has been off vacationing in GREECE the last week so he deserves some tormenting now!!! LOL Not really, I'm glad he got to go... I've always wanted to visit Greece.

I'm going to have to wait until my husband gets home to set it up. Something in Linux isn't letting it.
And I'm completely useless with Linux operating systems, even after taking a course in the stuff.

Stefan, if you get too many more shortcuts on your desktop, you won't even be able to see the picture!:D

I'm already using a different wallpaper, I had this one for about a day. Not that there's anything wrong with it, it's just not mine. :D

I got outvoted by the kids, who were highly insulted to think that I'd replace a photo of the two of them with a snake.

I´ve tried to catch her together with her meal, but she was too fast:D

How did you make her pose tlike that?
I've tried the wel known trick of putting something dark over them, but when I lift it, they always run...they never lie still...
A well, still have my bearded dragon...he does lie still :p

You might have to wait a little longer!
Or photograph faster:D
I´ve tried again and again.
My hard disk is full of the other shots:o

Don't you just love 'the digital age'
You can delete everything but the perfect shot!
I don't know what I did with the radix today. I was taking pictures outside and she was constantly creeping out. But suddenly she decided to be a cool snake and just chill! Incredible! (still didn't get the perfect shot though :o)

my experience exactly
I've got tons of fantastic shots of the beardie, but many of of my snake photos are blurry tail shots and the rest aren't that good either
and yes - do I ever appreciate digital
so how do you do it, Udo?

First I handle the snake a while, until the excitment of leaving the enclosure is gone. Than put her to the set up and cover with my hand or a bowl.
After waiting until she don´t move any more, I put the hands/bowl away and taking as much photos as fast as possible.
Some times you can also make her to watch your fingers like the trick of the cobra and the flute.

I have a few that like that method...But they also strike like cobras :D

Just take pictures of everything all the time.
then pick out the best ones:D Certain snakes in our collection have been photographed so many times, they almost seem to pose for the camera anymore.
Like anything, the more you do it, the better you get. Big memory cards, and rechargeable batteries make it easy to take a hundred photos just to get 1 good one.

Stefan,
Go to a dual monitor and you'll have twice the space for shortcuts and downloads. Worked great for me.
