i think female... but i only look at the big she is......
at the cloaca i can not see it on these photo's.....

More or less I saw how close your fingers were after the cloaca, suggesting a tapered tail IE a female. :P

Thanks folks! Back to the wild she goes! Till my next find... I am on a quest to find a male, hopefully a good looking one.. to match my pretty female with lots of blue-ish color.

From my experience, male easterns tend to "disappear" during the summer. I have had a tad amount of luck finding males nearer the dens, as juveniles in female turf, and in heavily forested areas.

Hopefully she squirts those little guys out and they all make it :)

She is back where I found her. Funny, Last night I cut up some small mouth bass and threw the leftovers outside where I found her, and today I saw two others there also.

even without teh tail shots.... that snakes definately a She!!! the huge head, the hefty chubby build and the sheer size of the snake overall scream feminine :D
