Grrrr! How I would love to post some new "Garters of 2008" pics! Fire season here in NW California has smoked out my favorite summer camping / herping spots.

So, I guess I will just post some of my favorite "on locations" I have so far...

Very nice photos, all of them. :) But that T. elegans elegans is the most beautiful of the snakes. :)

YES! I love the clean cut boldness of the Mountain Garter. I have only seen one like this.

I LOVE these shots!!!! I am so jealous of you westerners with all those different kinds of garters to photograph! easterns.. I love em, but I wish we had some others here!!!

those are some awesome pics!!!!! Love the feeding shots, but the fitchi is one of my favorites!!!! :D
