The frequency of shedding correlates directly to growth. If the snake is large, and growing more slowly, it will slough less often. How long since the last slough, Kevin?

Ripley (the bull snake), 15 years-old and 5' 8", sheds about three times a year.

As often as is necessary, which depends on the growth rate and wear&tear.

Don't worry Kevin!
Deejay went almost 6 months without a shed once, and since then she going every month like clockwork! I expect she'll slow down again soon, as she's over 30 inches now. She just seemed to be on a major growth spurt for a while.
George will definitely grow and shed as she needs to. Just be patient!;)
