How often do they need to be fed? Is every other day good with a two-day break at the end of the week?

give them a few days after being born, they won't eat right off. then they can be fed every 2-3 days

i would feed them every 3rd day at most... you want to allow some time for some digestion before you feed more, power feeding them is unecessary :)

I've been feeding mine every 2 or 3 days. They're all little piggies, too!:)

Most of mine I follow that schedule.. and they grow up fine.:D
Babies will eat a lot more often than adults, but they grow so fast, and shed so frequently they need the nutrition.
If any babies refuse fish, I sprinkle calcium supplements on 2 meals per week, during this critical growing stage I feel more comfortable if the calcium is there to help those delicate bones become strong.

I feed twice a week. Most of the time I give first a lot of earthworms, so I always add calcium and vitamin supplements...
