i've heard that it is okay to feed ribbon snakes rosy red and guppies if not where can i get tadpoles from?

Neighborhood ponds. The tadpoles came really late around here...will still have the leopard frog and bullfrog tads, and we have quite a few spring peeper pollywogs...check the ponds, man!

I wouldn't feed tadpoles, they're full of parasites. I have my ribbons on a diet of rosy reds and fuzzy/pinky mice. If you only feed guppies and rosy reds, remember to supplement their food every once in a while.

I would avoid using rosies, they contain thiaminase.

My new ribbon just started taking tilapia scented fuzzys for the first time in his life no problem . ;)

My female also has started taking salmon scented fuzzies. Make sure they smell good and fishy. :P
