Thank you everyone! I was having a bit of a sad day... My husband truly forgot my birthday (nine years of marriage)... Then I see all of your kind words and it lifts my spirits!

Oh, and I got a 40 gallon tank with lid, heat pad, two UV light bulbs, thermostat and a really pretty hiding rock for $40.00! All I need is a nice pair of snakes to put in it. :)

I forgot to answer...

I was told there is a reptile show in the fall here. I will see what I can find. I really like the flames and the melemistic garters. We will have to see, for sure garters of some type. I have observed the garter and the corn now and I really love the garter personality. You can't walk around and hold them (at least mine you can't) like the corn but they are way more fun to watch!

if you try to handle them a bit more... you will be able to handle them just like corns... i sometimes forget that mine is around my neck!!!!:eek::D

Happy b-day andrea and darn thats a huge score the pet store here sells screen tops for 29 gal. tank for $30 darn i wish i had ur luck
