I got up this morning and looked into the garter tank without my contacts in and saw blood... lots...
So after I popped my contacts in I found that my ribbon girl had popped her babies out!
She gave birth to 23 babies, no stillbirths, no complications or anything! And she hasn't even shed yet! :P

Also, how long until they start showing interest in food? It looks as if a few of them have already shed.

Awesome! Congrats to you and mommy snake and daddy snake!
It might take some days for them to take food...But they also might eat the living *** out of you after some hours.
I'd say, just try. If they don't show interest...then they're not interested :P

You will find them ready to eat sooner than you think.
I have offered small cut up pieces of tilapia (salmon works too) just buy a frozen uncooked fish fillet, I get mine at a dollar store, tilapia fillet is only $1 there, and my garters like it.
Since the babies are so small, cut little slivers and grasp one end in tweezers and shake it in front of them.
They will tell you when they are ready, I have fed the same day as birth, some ate, some not. within days all were eating like crazy.
Congratulations!!!

I have some minced tilapia/salmon/rosy red bits in a dish in their tank with them. I've got tons of fish fillets, so I'm just biding my time. My mom's on baby watching duty right now. :P

Which reminds me... I just noticed the albino checkered who hybridized with the easterns turned blue today... Perhaps this'll be a double hitter? ^^

Are these all snakes you've bred, Kyle? Or just gravid females you've grabbed?
