Any other "Black Adder" fans?? (Tony Robinson, Hugh Lauri and Rowan Atkinson)

Back in 1991 or so I imported a British TV and VCR so I could watch it, and back then not many American folks even knew about it.

Then it got as complex as my snake hobby, tapes from all over Europe arriving in the mail almost every day.

Now in this age of DVD, bit torrents and trading groups, the PAL (European) "rig" sits collecting dust. Every once in a while, we break it out and watch some of the tapes.

For the British here, I collected "Rapido", "Friday at the dome", T.O.T.P., "New Statesman" and "young Ones"(Spats was boring) and many other programmes from BBC & ITV.

Now you have that SKY TV and other independent channels, I have no idea what I'm missing these days.

Cheers!,
Wayne A. Harvey

Black Adder (series 2-4), Fawlty Towers, Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Fast Show, The League of Gentlemen, Little Britain, 'Allo 'Allo, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Alas Smith and Jones, Spaced and many more that I've forgotten by now... The Young Ones was okay, so was Bottom. DVD has definitely given new life to a lot of old series.

I gave Red Dwarf a shot, but I didn't like it.

Black Adder was great... "Here is a purse of monies, which I am not going to give you!"
Blackadder: I seek information about a Wisewoman.
Young Crone: Ah, the Wisewoman... the Wisewoman.
Blackadder: Yes, the Wisewoman.
Young Crone: Two things, my lord, must thee know of the Wisewoman. First, she is... a woman. And second, she is...
Blackadder: Wise?
Young Crone: You do know her then?
Blackadder: No, just a wild stab in the dark which is, incidentally, what you'll be getting if you don't start being a bit more helpful.

I've only seen a couple of episodes of BA but it was funny. I also remember (very vaguely) a show called "The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perin" don't remember what it was about exactly but I do recall that it was pretty funny as well.
