I have a candle on a heat pad thing (so no smoke) and my room smells like cucumber, can this be a problem to the snakies?

I have no idea...all I know is that my smelt also smells like cucumber...and they like it (for obvious reasons)

Sorry, I'm confused... Why do you have a candle on a heatpad?
And why do snakes like the smell of cucumbers?

The candle is on the heat pad to provide the scent, without the need for a naked flame. Snakes don't like the smell of cucumber, they like the smell of smelt... which (apparently) smells a little bit like cucumber.
Come on, Esther... keep up!

smelt may smell like cucumber to humans . . .

Smelts - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smelt)
We have a slightly different subspecies here, but is one of the most used feeder fish for Thamnophis ssp.
