Loren & I went to So*Cal this weekend to do some herping in the high desert. Although we didn't find any garters, we had a pretty good trip. Here are some highlights from the weekend...

We had a good time, but I couldn't wait to get home & clean up after sleeping out in the desert for a couple of nights with no shower...LOL!
Looks like the two of you had a real good outing. Those are great looking photos.

Beautiful photos.
How do you catch a bat? I assume you didn't capture it in mid-flight:)

It was in the rock cracks. I used the snake hook to get it out then I grabbed it.
BTW, the coachwhip is doing GREAT!!!!!

never kept lyres, i'd like one though, dont think they are available in the UK. i know they are rear fanged and mildly venomous, nothing much to worry about just dont let it chew on you, incase your allergic :D
the long nose was gorgeous too, looked like you had a great time. :)
