Because these species are not easy to photograph (small, shy and a terrarium that is not suited to make pictures in) I took them in my hand.

And my lonesome Thamnophis cyrtopsis ocellatus. I am not sure, but I think its a male. The other one has escaped a while ago :mad:

They are named for the nominate form... T. m. melanogaster, which has a black belly.:)
