My garter will be having babies soon. I was just wondering how long after they are born i can start to give them away etc??

Do they have to be with the mother for any lengh of period

The babies are independant immediately. It's normal to ensure they are all feeding regularly before selling or giving them away.
If you are 'giving' them away... give 'em to me!:D
