Speaking of webcams, I don't suppose anybody here has one pointed at a terrarium? I had one for a while and I might be setting it up again, if I can figure out some uploading system that doesn't quit after a few hundred uploaded frames.

Cool link, my kids and I watched 3 zebras and 2 wildebeest wandering around! The camera turned to the left of the watering hole and we watched the animals wandering around for a few minutes...fun!!!!

You can try searching for "live webcams" or something similar and see what pets some people have in thier live webcam. I did go to some sites last night with pets in thiers but no snakes or tanks of any sort.

I am so completely addicted to this site now. I always have it running anytime I'm online now!!!! So far I've seen the lions, a giraffe and a hyenah! Tonight for some reason the camara focused on an ant hill....very cool....African ants! Yeh, I'm sooo friggin' hooked!:eek:

Too funny! I saw some impalas and a wildebeast. The birds are constantly active, though. I keep looking, but I have a slow connection. I think it's probably safe to say that anyone who keeps captive snakes is pretty fascinated by living animals, so this African webcam was certain to reel a bunch of us in.

A few minutes ago, I saw two animals that I could not ID. They were four footed, had long tails, walked with their (smallish) heads down. Their tails looked bushy and light colored towards the tips. Now I am not an expert on African mammals, but I know alot of them, and these were strange to me. Now I guess I need to find a good key or a good identification site for African mammals... hmmm.... ??? :confused:

I almost fell over when I saw that Leopard today!!incredible!:eek:,it was their for a good 10 min.,showed around 3:30 pm their time,Wo!Hoo!The wife and kids saw a wild dog and a jackel ,and huge herd of wildebeests,last night,sunrise their time.
As far as I can tell,the Camera moves around ,locates and zooms in,and tracks a animal,when someone at there end,is sitting by the controls,otherwise,it's left pointed at the water hole,and I haven't seen the camera move at all,during night vision.

while getting ready for work @ 2:30 am today, 9:30 am their,I saw a herd of Zebra's,1 Giraffe and 2 female Kudu's.Now theirs Monkeys,so far the neatest animal I've seen was the Leopard!

after a while watching them one can start picking up personality stuff
the other day I watched two that had completely different strategies for watching out for predators
interestingly they weren't watching out for each other, which is what zebras do

well its actually on a preserve and there is what I think is like a lodge/resurch center there, so it seems there are people there all the time.......:)

this past weekend,the person moving the camera from side to side,zoomed in on the lodge,during their day time,then early evening,all lite up,the lodge is hugh!and we got the impression that is only a couple hundred yards away from the waterhole.

I was watching the one evening and there were animal walking past the lodge, like maybe 20 feet away it seemed, but I couldn't tell exactly because the zoom isn't as well when its getting dark there......they have a harder time focussing the camera.............I don't think there many people there though, that pic with them in the jeep is the most I've ever seen, and that was only like six people..................
