Memorial Day stroll

Went out this morning to one of my favorite places to see gartersnakes. It was overcast when I got there, so I figured I probly wouldn't have to much luck. However, they were all over the place today!!! Most of them were too fast to get any pics of. Probly close to 40 gartersnakes I spotted taking off into the shrubs, most before I could react. Here are a few that I was able to photograph today....

Thanks everyone! sorry about the pic size. I do not know why they did not reduce when I posted them from photobucket:confused: I did the "resize" but for some reason it didn't work.

adamanteus, I just ordered a nikon D80, so I probly will enter contest after that. I am glad you like the pics, but to be honest, I am not satisfied with how they come out.
