yes yes...the time has come!

I have young parietalis!!!
one to be exact...:mad:

Okay, the female. She is born in '06. She weighed 86 grams at the end of hibernation and she weighed 151 grams at 3 months of gravidity (? what!?)
I've been feeling to see how many young I might expect. I felt around 10 young. The female doesn't look like she has eaten 9 young, but she doesn't look skinny either.
Shes not moving around like she is still in labour but I'm keeping my hopes up...

Pictures of "the one" have been made and will be added tonight I guess.

I found the young at 11 this morning...Its now 4 o clock with no signs of more on their way...
It sucks...
But then again, I must say I have noticed that quite a lot of litters this year are small...Not all, but defenitly more then last year

As you can see, its blushing nicely. I don't think this one will become very red. Bright red, yes but she (i hope) has a lot of black...

The same female gave birth to 3 more live young. 5 dead and 1 underdeveloped egg.
I knew I felt around ten young :D:D

Í might just be used to strange garters...But isn;t it a bit odd that she gave birth to them over 2 days? Could it have something to do with the number of dead young she was carrying?

Congrats with the 3 new babies!

I experienced the same with my marcianus this year. But she only had 1 dead young and 25 living. She gave birth to 3 young the day after. That she had only 1 dead young, is not in line with your experience...

Had a quad het plains do that to me acouple years back.I wondered if maybe I disturbed her right after the first and she deliberately held the others untill she felt safe.She delivered the rest at night on the seconed night.

It defenitly was a great show! Its still on air in holland, but its dutch now...And not funny anymore...

I can't stand dubbed shows. The voice acting is always absolutely horrible and every joke is lost in translation.


I used to watch it when it was "new". I've always appreciated good cartoons, I still do. ;) And I saw a few dozen episodes a friend of my downloaded a couple of years ago, it was indeed a great show. :D
