feeding too much?

hi, i have a baby albino molurus... i fed her 4 small mice on sun, and i fed him another 4 o wed... is it too much? because she kept asking 4 more.. thx

Oh, I don't know, these Pythons grow at an astonishing rate when they're very young. You'll know if it's too much, she'll regurgitate it.

she never regurgitates anything... on the prev sunday, it ate 2 mice... on the following sun, it ate 4 more, and just pooped twiced on mon and tue... gave her another 4 on wed, ad she seemed to ask 4 more... is the metabolism alright? is it too much feeding? thx...

i can't really tell... maybe she is 55-65cm long...

I once had a phyton that eat like that when it was younger.
Once she got older she cut back on it.

I figure,if she eats it,and seems is in healthy shape..it shouldnt be much of a problem

if it's a baby... give them as much as they want!! as long as the snake is fully digesting, you don't need to worry, it's only going to turn it into growth!

I had a Ball that did that until it got older to and bigger...........
It also ate an extra large rat when it was about 36inches long, I mean this rat was huge, and it took it about 1-1/2 hours to get it down and then didn't eat for like 6 months........any way just wanted to share that......;)

pythons do tend to eat well when they are young. when you say you feed it baby mice, are you saying pinkys fuzzies or juvenile mice? i fed my ball python 2 times a week when he was very young and when that didnt seem to satisfy him i increased the size of his prey, do you think he could take a larger meal?
