She sure is!! That pic was a complete surprise -- she was just wandering around when I took it, and then the picture came up with this wide open mouth!!

Deejay is also a female! I'm kind of glad I found another, so they can share the same quarters without getting into any 'trouble'!:D

Thanks! I love her colouring as well. She's got so much yellow and green, with that almost white dorsal stripe. I've always thought she was beautiful, but I may be a bit biased!

She's just about 3 years old. She was born at the end of July. And she now measures in at 31 inches after the last shed.

I'm drawn to just watching them eat. Who'da thunk? I love feeding P & J because that allows me to handle and kiss and hug and play with them. So I feed every other day, every second day, every third day - depending. P pigs out no matter when I feed. J, he won't eat but for every 4th to 7th day or so. :(

Yeah, Winnie's very much like that. DeeJay's green on the underside seems to be just a wee bit greener than Winnie's. But, yeah! Deejay and Winnie could be sisters! :D

Does Winnie have the bright yellow sides too?
Deejay is the only garter I've seen around here so far with that. Even her mother wasn't yellow.

Winnie's sides are more the greenish-creamish. Most creamish on the dorsal stripe, more greenish-creamish on the side stripes; and even more so greenish on her botton scales. Kind'a like the further down, the more greenish. Know what I mean?

I can kinda figure it out. But I sure hope we'll get to see a picture of her one day. She sounds lovely!

She is, gods love her. I think so enkneeweigh. She's just a plain, old common eastern garter from MN, but you know? It's to her I have to thank for Peepers and Jeepers, and all the others I hope to have.

I've not been able to make it to the park to work as I've not been able to afford the gass. But it is our intent to take pics of Winnie I can post here, as well as P & J, so you guys can see my kids.

When I get rich (ROFLOLPMPCOOSBAG!!!) I'll get a camera...

There's nothing wrong with plain old Eastern garters!
I've got an even half dozen now, each one unique and beautiful, and if I can never get any more snakes, they'll still make me happy. It's the plain ol' Easterns that got me into this. :)
