So today was the day we took Twister the Butler's garter home. It wasn't as horrible an experience as I'd thought. No one cried, and Twister seemed pretty happy to be back in his old home.
We had to take him a little further into the nature area than where we'd originally found him, since they are doing construction nearby, and in just a few weeks it has encroached to within a couple hundred feet of his pond!:mad:
