They're all quite pretty.:)
It's interesting to see the colour difference in each separate baby. Too bad none are as light as their momma!

I honestly think its just a nice light baby and that it will really bring out the hypo trait some day!!!
Memnoch, I did indeed get your message, but was unable to reply to you... I am not sure why. That is a Blue Puget Sound Garter snake, I have a pair, they don't get much bluer than them! You can find blue pugets relatively easy and they are very affordable since they have become very common in the snake trade. Since baby season is coming, I am sure you will see lots available soon!!! My female may be gravid, but it is too early to tell yet!

Very nice. The first babies from your pet is always exciting. I was excited when my shrimp had babies the first time. Now I have LOADS of shrimp.

thats a nice thought... but I don't think so. The baby isn't anywhere near pale enough compared to mama snake. and it wasn't born pale either. Hypo animals are born noticeably lighter. The baby also has black in places where the hypo does not, and has a fair amount of labial markings compared to her.

OK ... :P here's what I'll do ... I'll conceal her with invisible paint (saves us any customs trouble) and she should be with you at 9 o'clock tonight via british post teleport .... I think the garters might be too stressed by such a procedure so ;) just send them in the regular fashion ... :D
Looks like your babies are all doing great, Shannon. Thanks for the update.
