Here are some pics of my garters and some other snakes. Lots are left out but I don't have a lot of pics on this computer. They are all on the laptop.
Anyways. Without further blabbing.
Male Puget Sound, Anakin Solo: My absolute favorite snake of ALL time (I have had a lot ) Just wonderful personality, perfect in everyway and eats like a pig. Likes to try and fly out of his cage when I open it to see if I can have food and nearly takes my hand off. It's a miracle he was this still for pictures. And as always. He is much richer and velvety in person then could ever be captured in photos. I have to thank Scott Felzer for him!

Ganner, Baby Amazon Tree Boa I picked up at a San Antonio Expo for a steal. Guy told me they would only take live pinks taped to the top of the cage. *rolls eyes*. These things are taking dead, cold, wet pinks from tongs and CHICKEN liver for crying out loud! lol! And OH so fun to photograph! They are mean though. I can't stop staring at their green eyes...

They both look great. :) I especially like the checkered.

Don't have pics of my halloween phase tree boa. Even though he is much prettier he was in the process of shedding THREE layers of shed from his old home. Ugh.
So here is:
Cinnamon, Sumatran Red Blood Python that I got FREE on craigslist. The couple had purchased them from a well known breeder in San Antonio and just didn't have the room anymore to continue working with their Ball Python morphs. Needless to say I was ecstatic.

The little Amazon tree boa is quite cute, even if he is mean!

They are cute. lol! I was used to the quick constant, hard striking of the TX rats. But these two are so clumsy and soft about it. It's so adorable. lol!

Yeah, I've seen that picture, too. Don't worry, I will definitely share pictures when I get some garter snakes. But first I need to sell my dressage saddle and get a female mossy frog, then I can work on the next pet project .

Love the amazon indeed! Also like the way it slowly seems to emerge from the 'bodyball', not being able to suppress its curiosity:)
Was that on purpose?

I'm glad everyone like my ammies!! I thought I was the only one who thought they seemed like they had that "extra touch" of personality. Weird. :D
And larean, that is really how it happened. :) He was all balled up so I plucked him out before he bit. He sat their for 30 seconds and then started to come out. :D SO cute!! He was like "whats that??" and he stretched out all long to look at the camera. Then he saw me behind it and started biting.

Beautiful Puget Sound garters. I have a thing for blue garters, so I'd say some of these guys are on the short list to add for my collection. I always hear keepers say they have calm, curious personalities. I'm sure they're a bit more relaxed then my similis. :)

Mine are a bit spazzy, but I don't handle them much. I will say, even when scared, they don't musk like other garters I've seen. That darn ribbon snake of Reeds can hit you from across the room, I swear... :D
