Can somebody sex my garter snake?

Hi,

I'm new to these forums, and I would like to know the gender of my garter snake, Jerry. I had him/her for five years now. He/she is a wild caught snake ( I know thats bad now, but I didn't then) and he is missing most of his tale (he didn't loose it under my care), so I am really unsure of what gender it is.

Another welcome to a great forum. My guess is female also. I base it on the second photo which shows the more defined , rather than gradual taper from vent to tip of tail.
