Sid is a great-grandpa! Daivd weighs 8 pounds-12 oz. and is 20 inches long. Photo will of coarse follow.

David is the son of my 19 year old Grand-daughter Amanda (who was our first grandchild) Amanda is the first child of Michael ( our oldest of five sons).

David was born in Germany. His dad is stationed there with the military and currently serving in Iraq.

We have our grand-daughter, Rosslyn, that lives with us (she ids the daughter of Donald our #2 son), 3 grand-daughters (children of our #3 son Jason) that live here in the county and one grandson that lives in Kansas.

Wow, Sid, how exciting! A Great- Grandpa! That is incredibly special. Shame little David lives so far away, but hopefully you still get to enjoy your new role. :) Congratulations from me, too!

My children are still young enough that I can't even envision them as parents yet, but I do dream of having a ton of little grandkids running around one day.

Thanks for all the comments. I finally got a copy of David's first photo. It's in all his glory, if you know what I mean. Not adding it here due to that. Didn't want to risk offending any of you. Amanda is planning to come home for a short visit soon. Can't wait to hold the little guy.
