Okay so penny all of a sudden got these three bumps and after they did not go away after a week i decided to go to the vet because it was only $48 so i took her in the vet was soooo knowladgeable about snakes and was really nice, so he cut the top of the skin and pulled out some dead worm parasites, he said most of these things go away after you pull them out so he gave me stuf to give her a antibiotic bath and then healing cream after, also somehow when her tail got cut, (even though i washed it and neosporined it while it was healing) it somehow got infected so after she has her babies (he agreed that she looked pregnant) he has to amputate that then everything should be good so now shes back in her home cuddled up on the heating pad relaxing, and im going to move her into a terrarium so that i can use a heat lamp to boost her systems to help her heal faster and stuf like that,
also depending on how many babies she has, there should be extras because only 3 are reserved so look out for them when there born (Penny is really blue) the vet said she was the prettiest snake hes treated
so the babies should be really nice,
Ttyl,
Reed

Sounds like quite a vet visit, Reed! Glad she's going to be okay, and hopefully her babies will be very beautiful. Wish I was in the US, so I could have a chance for one!

Wow, good call on getting her to the vet, Reed! I'm glad she's going to be ok. Can't WAIT to see those babies!!!

I'm taking Curious and Reed in tonight-- Curious hasn't eaten in almost a month, and so we're going to treat him and Reed for worms and flagellates. He is active and he is interested in food, but he won't actually eat. He hangs all over it and toungue flicks like crazy. Reed is still a huge pig and eats everything in sight, but since they room together we're treating both of them.
