I like to listen to the hard heavy stuff

I don't as a general rule (can't tolerate head-banging, cobra commander voice type stuff either) but there are are exceptions. My taste in music is full of contradictions.

For a long time there, they wouldn't work for me either for some dang reason but that didn't stop me from typing them in manually.

My music taste has greatly changed. I used to listen to metal and rap almost exclusively. Now I can't stand either.

I think you'd like these, maybe not the first two.

i actuall like all kids of music but some bands i like are TOOL(seen live 4 time) Nine Inch Nails(seen live once) A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Ashes Divide, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, blue grass(stuff like for O Brother Where Art Thou) Chimaira(seen live 2 times once at Ozzfest '03 and then in a bar in PA) Chevelle(Ozzfest '03), In This Moment, Bob Seger, Queen, David Bowie(i share the same birthday as him and Elvis January 08) Shinedown, Cradle of Filth(Ozzfest '03), Marilyn Manson( particularly Mechanical Animals and Anti-christ Superstar) Sublime, The Dirty Heads, Pantera, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dope, and Black Label Society are a lot of what i like with some rap thrown in, and some other stuff like Johnny Cash.
I just like a variety of music other than any country except maybe a few George Straight songs and a few Garth Brooks songs.
the only other thing i cant listen to is any kind of gospel music.

Quite a thumbnail there ^^^

Even if you don't like this band (I think they're awesome) watch the video and pay attention to the things "for sale" in it. Hilarious. If you really think about it, modern advertising really implants on your subconscious that wen you buy their product, these (things in the video) are what you are buying, and if you don't hsve their products, you are not worthy as a human being. It's true. That's the mind game they play and it works.

Great Portland, Oregon band. Many songs have been on the soundtrack of movies and TV and they've done several global tours to sold out shows. Great people too. Very down to earth. Many years ago this talented woman mentored and helped teach music to 2 very talented little girls, who were sisters named Martie and Emily Erwin, in whom she saw great potential. Today their names are Martie Erwin Maguire (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martie_Maguire), Emily Erwin Robison. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emily_Robison)

Later the sisters were joined by singer Natalie Maines (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natalie_Maines) and today they're known known as "The Dixie Chicks" ;)

I like 80's alternative/new wave stuff too. And as far as "a lot of emotion" goes, that's why my favorite Pink floyd album is "The Final Cut". That, and "The Wall" are meant to be listened to in their entirety. They tell a story and the two albums are parts 2 & 1 of that story, respectively. They aren't just music, they are rock opera's with a lot of emotion.

While on the home page click on the "Forum" tab. Under that tab you will see "Forum Actions". Click on that and a drop down menu will appear. Choose "General Settings". Once on that page look to the left side and you will see a header named "My Subscriptions" under that is a folder called "Subscriptions" Open that folder, now you can manage the threads you are subscribed too.
