Congrats Josh! Looks to be a male in my opinion. Notice the visible pores and the bumps at the base of his tail? About a year old? Asian and Australian water dragons have the same growth rate is what I'm going by. Where did you get him from?

Nice Dragon, Josh. You know he'll need plenty of room, don't you? They like to launch themselves from their perches... if they lack space they end up with smashed in noses!

u got him at petco? they seem to be getting more and more exotic species it scares me that they might not know how to care for them then pass the lack of knowledge onto the person buying it

To be honest i comepletely agree!
Although their lack of care has wasted a lot of my money, i have got a friend a job their. He knows what he is doing! The guy who was helping me out today was the complete oposite. It was quite pathetic! I had to get the dragon out of the cage because they scared him!!

90% of the "I saved a pet" threads are because of petco. i prefer the privately owned stores

I found that it really depends on who works there.
I've been to a pet-co that had a herp enthusiast who was knowledgeable
we also had a small store in the neighborhood, where the owner was burned out and all the employees just kids needing to make a buck
we have a local chain (Petland Discounts) where the difference between individual stores is immense
Nice addition, Josh. Those are great photos.
