The kids are on vacation this week and there is a new exhibit at the Museum of Science called Lizards and Snakes: Alive! so of course we had to go! Here are some photos:

And finally our favorite the veiled chameleon. S/He thrilled us all by climbing all over the branches, staring at us, moving his eyes in all directions and shooting out his tongue for some water or maybe a bug!

Rhea - this is the exact exhibit that was at the Museum of Natural History. I am not sure where else it might be traveling.

Very nice- I'm a bit surprised to see a mamba housed with a gaboon though. Seems a little dangerous for the keeper to be working with a gaboon while having to keep an eye on a mamba.
