More great pics. :)

That T. fulvus picture looks familiar. ;) It's nice looking species, though. I'd love to get my hands on a couple. ;)

Stefan, had I placed the fulvus pic already? Could be so, because that is the only "old" pic. The others were from this morning.

I am desperately seeking for a male fulvus (or two, that's even better).

Well, I'm kinda generous, you may keep them :p

Good luck in the search, Fons. I think the only way to get them is to hope that the EGSA members that have fulvus and sold you the females have some new offspring in the coming years... I never saw anybody else who has them.

Okay, than I keep them myself...

I am already in contact with some German people. But no result up to now.

If you'd know someone who imports and you can add a snake to the import, you can go to Scott Felzer. But think that would be quite expensive, so a rather slim chance that you'll be able to do that...

Fons, you sure have some beautiful snakes!!
Does the fulvus always have that attitude, or is it just for the camera??:p

Very nice pics again Fons!

Like Hans said, the best possibility of obtaining fulvus would be german breeders, or importing from Scott Felzer. Maybe the EGSA will organise another import this year? (I defenitly hope so! The fulvus attitude looks great! :D)

The T. fulvus of me are easy irritated, but do not really bite.
Do not know if this is "normal" for the whole species.

aren't fulvus kind of a small species?
I'm imagining them to get about as big as Chloe, my maritime, who seems to have topped out at circa 18" (have to measure some time)

aren't fulvus kind of a small species?
Yes. They grow to about 65cm (26") according to my sources.

I was just being lazy, Stefan
and 65cm/26" is not that small for a garter
they were totally on my wish list last year, and then I had the concinnus babies . . .
they're still on my wish list, but I've got an acquisition limit this year

If most garter species grow larger than that, I call it a small species. ;) I think all except 5 or 6 species grow bigger than fulvus.

true
it's all relative . . .

T. fulvus is indeed one of the smaller species. They grow up to 60-65 cm according literature.
